LetterGeneral McLane Middle School Needs ENGINE INFORMATIONBy Michael J. Costanzo,Industrial Arts Department, General McLane Middle School, 11781 Edinboro Road, Edinboro, Pennsylvania 16412 I am writing this letter in regard to the old engine shown in the enclosed picture. One of my students brought this engine into my "Small Gasoline Engines" class and we know very little about it. Although the engine is in running condition, there are several things that I would like to know about it, and I thought that maybe you could help. There are numbers on the engine plate, but I cannot seem to find the name of the engine. The engine number is 15-JK8269 G. It runs at 775 R.P.M. and has horsepower equal 1½-2 JK and it is made in the United States. The engine has a WICO ignition system. I would like to know: (1) The make of the engine; (2) The approxima... 804 of 1599 characters shown.
