FAIL SAFE PROCEDURE FOR AVOIDING OIL PRESSURE FAILURE ON NEW OR OLD GAS ENGINESBy Lee Bundy,7425 Colfax Avenue, So., Richfield, Mn. 55423 To safe guard your engine new or old, if you have a pressure system, either magneto or battery engine type, use an ordinary oil sensor of the idiot light variety. You will now need to install a pipe-T in the oil pressure tap of your tractor engine. One end of the T-install your sensor switch, the other end install to a line running to your oil pressure gauge. Next use an insulated wire, tapping off to the magneto condensor. Now run this wire to the one post on the oil pressure sensor switch. Run another insulated wire to the other post of the condensor switch. The last wire run to one end of a two way toggle switch. Next, run a ground wire to engine or frame of tractor and connect it to the center of post of toggle switch. The other end post of a two way toggle switch ... 797 of 1184 characters shown.
